Netherby Nomenclature: Fact or Fiction

Aug 2017: This list was located on Ancestry.com as simply the Netherby Passenger List. It refers to being wrecked at the top of page one. As some names are crossed off and others are not - I initially thought it may have been showing those who did or didn't go to QLD. However a check through the names of those who we know did or didn't go to QLD does not reveal a pattern as to who is crossed off and who isn't. I also note that at the bottom of some pages there is an additional "spare" name out of alpha order and not matching existing lists - could be the person who "signed off the page" ? could be crew ?

So this one currently remains a mystery to me and if anyone knows its origin - please let me know.

Interestingly - in this group of "spare" names at the bottom there are those that you will see on my Passenger List & Name Corrections page I have listed as "TBC" - to be confirmed - because each only appears on one source - not multiple lists - or because it was thought they may have gone ashore in Plymouth. They include Bowes, Hayes, Prestwood, Robins and Wells.
